Despite soggy conditions, and a brief flashflood, the 3rd annual Austin Wine Festival at to the Domain drew nearly 7,000 wine lovers over Memorial Day Weekend. With an expanded roster of award-winning Texas wineries and a larger event site, this year’s event offered a taste of over 30 wineries as well as a slew of new food and art vendors.

The Memorial Weekend Festival featured wineries from Lampasas to New Braunfels, and Fredericksburg to Dripping Springs – part of the internationally awarded and recognized wine region in the Texas Hill Country that has quickly become the #2 Wine Destination in the nation, second only to Napa Valley. Austin Wine Festival is the only wine festival in the State of Texas to offer direct to consumer tasting, which means guests can actually purchase wines they enjoy on-site. Proceeds of this year's event will again benefit the Austin Farmers' market.
